Asni’s Art Blog: Supernova

Before Black Hole, comes Supernova. If Black Holes were a state of mind, the fear of nothingness, of being catapulted out of existence, then the artists who have chosen “Supernova” as their topic, distinctly verge toward the trippy.

Never mind that these giant cosmic explosions signal the death of a star. After the doom and gloom of last fortnight’s topic, I can see nothing particularly apocalyptic in these images. If anything, it’s more like a giant cosmic orgasm. Enjoy!
