Dear Amazing Stories Readers: We've been bringing you daily content since 2012 as well as having published online three issues of Amazing Stories. Now we're asking for your help to bring back the print edition of the Amazing Stories magazine. Please visit our Kickstarter page and make your donation to restart the world's original Science Fiction magazine. Consider this, if just half of our 41,000+ members gave $10 to get the digital subscription we would be fully funded for nearly two years!

Amazing Stories

Off to Boskone

Coverage this weekend may be spotty; there is a good likelihood that there will be no editorial tomorrow and little to no news coverage on Sunday.

I’ll be moderating my first panel this afternoon The 10 Books That Made Me a Fan; much of Boskone’s Friday programming is free and open to the public, so if you are in the area and have a few moments, stop on by!

Prior to that I’ll be setting up the Fan Bid Table for the NASFiC 2019 bid for Utah; they’re trying to combine a Westercon and a NASFiC in a bid to increase attendance and to combine all the great things that two conventions in one place can offer. Bid tables provide info and offer opportunities to pre-support (a fannish oddity is that you can purchase pre-supporting to both support OR oppose the bid, but either way the money goes towards bid operations. Sounds strange, but people actually do it).

Boskone 55 Be there, or be somewhere else that isn’t a Science Fiction convention…unless you’re James Bacon (in which case you can be at two different conventions on the same weekend).
