Membership & Comments Policy

The Amazing Stories blog is provided to the fan community for its enjoyment, information, education and to create a fun environment for the free and open exchange of information of interest to fans.

The site is primarily focused on providing a family-friendly environment.  Most content is suitable for a general audience.  Content that is not suitable for a general audience will contain suitable warnings.  Unfortunately, comments may occasionally violate this policy.

Those who join the site as members or subscribers are strongly urged to follow the guidelines found below when participating on the site:

1. Your comments should be relevant to the subject being discussed.
2. Your comments should be directed to the SUBJECT, not the post author or other members who are participating in the discussion.
3. You should aspire to intelligent, mature commentary.
4. Should you find yourself being drawn in to a personal argument with a poster or commentator, please do not exacerbate the situation by responding in kind. Instead, send an email to the site’s publisher; when doing so, please provide a link to the relative post and/or comments.

One would like to think and certainly hope that everyone visiting the site is here to have fun and discuss and enjoy subjects that are of interest to them, and plan to do so in a friendly, mature manner. The site owner will be judicious when enforcing these policies, but will enforce them.

Should a site member demonstrate that they are unable to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects this policy, the site owner reserves the right to terminate their membership privileges. Prior warning may or may not be given. Offensive content may be altered or removed at the site owner’s discretion.

The Amazing Stories website will not tolerate flame wars, discriminatory statements with reference to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, age or any other criteria.

These are simple rules of the road. All site members should find them relatively easy to live by.
