Message From the Publisher
Well this is long over-due. Seven and a half months in and I'm finally getting around to addressing all of the members here.
First - thanks for joining. I really mean it!
Next - I'd like to hear from you all. Don't hold back on letting me know what you think we ought to be doing, or what you think we're doing wrong, or even what you think we're doing right!
Feel free to send me emails or messages (though please understand that it may take me a while to get back to you - kinda busy, you know?); if you'd like your comments or suggestions to remain private, please do me the courtesy of stating that in your communication.
Finally - I'm looking for a "few good fans" to help me increase Amazing Stories' reach, particularly members who also participate in Tumblr, Reddit and Google+. If you'd like to help out, give me a shout!
Amazing Stories was originally published by the Experimenter Publishing Company in 1926 and was the world's first science fiction magazine. Its owner, publisher and first editor was Hugo Gernsback who has been called the Father of Science Fiction.
Amazing Stories was published continuously - by different publishers - until 1995. It was resurrected between 1998 and 2000 and again between 2004 and 2005.
Now it is back again, published by a new version of the Experimenter Publishing Company, in a new format, with a bright new future awaiting it.
