The Amazing Stories crowdfunding project is in its final week. We’ve just crossed the 50% funded mark.
This means that we’re on the brink; at the end of the rope; staring into the abyss; approaching the event horizon.
In other words, coming to a very final end.
It doesn’t have to be that way, but it certainly looks as if this is the direction that our efforts are heading. There’s still a chance to change course…a last minute surge could still get us to the final goal.
Today is International Transgender Day of Awareness (March 31st).
Amazing Stories has a lot of friends who identify as LGBTQI; that T in there is for “transgender”, which means a lot of different things to people, but which basically comes down to the same thing for everyone: people who want to be able to express who they really are, without having to pay an undue price for doing so.
There’s no real reason they ought not be able to, aside from misunderstanding, prejudice and bigotry.
So I just wanted to say, to everyone who supports Amazing and identifies with that ‘T’ – “Thanks for being Amazing Stories’ friend”.
I also wanted to mention that we ought to let Facebook and the other mega sites do their dirty work, gather all of our data, use it to make billions and then tax them sufficiently to fund free health care for everyone in the country.
